Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Eat Nation, operated by Sarjena Foods Pvt Ltd, we take pride in delivering freshly prepared meals daily. As our food products are perishable, our refund and cancellation policy is designed to be transparent and fair.

1. Cancellations

Once an order or subscription is placed, it cannot be cancelled due to the perishable nature of our meals. However, in exceptional cases:

  • Cancellation requests made before meal preparation begins may be accepted at our discretion.
  • Users must contact our support team immediately for such requests.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds will only be considered in the following circumstances:

  • If your meal is delivered more than 8 hours late beyond the scheduled delivery window.
  • If you receive a meal that is wrong, defective, or spoiled at the time of delivery.
  • If we are unable to fulfill your order due to operational or unforeseen circumstances.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

No refunds or replacements will be provided in the following cases:

  • Dislike of taste, appearance, or minor variations in portion size.
  • Failure to collect meals left at reception/security when requested.
  • Delays caused by incorrect address, unavailable recipient, or force majeure events (strikes, natural calamities, lockdowns, etc.).

4. Refund Process

If eligible, refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days via the original mode of payment. In certain cases, we may offer:

  • A replacement meal delivered the same day.
  • An extension of your subscription plan to cover the missed/damaged meal.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or report an issue, please contact our customer support team within 4 hours of delivery with clear details and photographs (if applicable).

6. Subscription Cancellation

For subscription plans, cancellations are allowed only before the start of the subscription period. Once active, plans are non-refundable. In cases of serious service failure from our side, we may issue pro-rata refunds or credits at our discretion.
